Abstract

This paper focuses on the autopilot systems used in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the civil sector. UAVs are equipped with advanced autopilot systems that enable autonomous flight management, allowing for safer and more efficient flights without human intervention. The paper thoroughly discusses the fundamental functions of autopilot systems, their operating principles, safety and reliability mechanisms, as well as applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Additionally, the legal aspects and areas of application of UAV autopilot systems are addressed. In conclusion, the paper emphasizes the need for further development of UAV autopilot systems, strengthening safety measures, and establishing legal regulations. Future research should focus on optimizing these systems and exploring new areas of application.
