Abstract

By examining the complex dynamics between talent and employment, this research aims to provide a comprehensive view of how talent affects employability. The study is within the scope of the screening model. The population of the research includes individuals in different sectors, different professions, different skill levels and employment situations. Simple random sampling method was preferred in sample selection. In this context, 100 participants between the ages of 18-46, with a certain level of education, and with different experience levels and job roles were included in the research. A five-point Likert-type scale was used to evaluate participants' views on the relationship between talent and employment. Data was collected using a survey form created on Google Forms. Data analysis was carried out using survey data collected via Google Forms. First of all, the collected data were organized in numerical format and prepared for statistical analysis. Then, frequency distributions and percentages were calculated to determine how common the expressions in the scale were among the participants. At the end of the research, it is seen that the talents and skills of job seekers play a critical role in the job finding process. The majority of participants think that skills are more effective than a diploma when finding a job in their field of expertise. However, some do not make special efforts to develop talent. Emphasis is placed on sports, artistic and communication skills, while personal and emotional abilities are also emphasized.
